
Fundraising to Improve Buildings all across the Tall Timber Property!
A comfortable stay with great food, multiple recreation options, and a cozy cabin is what we want for each guest at Tall Timber. We are always looking to grow and improve our facilities for the best possible guest experience. While our campus has been developed over the course of 50+ years, we want to make sure that all our buildings create the same consistent experience for our staff and guests.
We have some major projects lined up for 2025:
√ Remodel of Cooks Cabin has already been completed. Cost was $5000.
- The Bath House will be renovated and reopened. We have a guest group who will be donating some of the materials and volunteer hours. The cost of this renovation is still to be determined.
- Carpet for "Alder" Staff House. Extensive drywall repair and painting the entire cabin has been completed. $7000
- Carpet for upstairs in Main Lodge. $8000
- Adding a much needed bathroom to the Ellensburg Cabin. $3500
- "Managers" A-frame - Upstairs divided into two bedrooms with doors, build and enclose a laundry room, redo kitchen cabinets, redo all interior wood finishes. $10,000 (estimate - ongoing)
- Schulze Center floor repair and new LVP flooring. $4500 for materials; doing our own install.
Current Goal of $50,000 reflects a guesstimate with bath house & A-Frame figured in.
We are stepping out in faith and some of these projects have already begun, because they are so important to our ability to operate and care for staff and guests! We are thankful for the hearts of many who have already begun to give. We have churches and individuals that have stepped up with their volunteerism and finances. We cannot thank them enough for their support, and hope that it encourages you to see that your giving will be a partnership with the greater Tall Timber community.
