Rev. Don Meekhof was pastor of the Ellensburg Presbyterian Church for 23 years, and for 19 years, served as the “dean” of Senior High Camp. Thousands of young people had life changing experiences of faith during his tenure. Known for his compassionate spirit, he was also challenging, funny, an excellent speaker and teacher. He drew volunteer counselors from across the state to serve and guide at his camps, which often exceeded 100 campers. We are thrilled to honor Don and the historical connection to Ellensburg. The remodeled Meekhof Cabin will be designed to serve group leaders and families, with a bathroom, cozy furnishings and beds. It will also get new siding, roofing, windows and porch. The transformation will be amazing, and is already well under way with the goal to have it in use by winter. A service of dedication will be planned for Spring 2026.
